The shape of wars to come: We need to think creatively about our expeditionary future
Article Abstract:
Strategic raids, punitive expeditions and general wars are the warfare of the future and they need to be mastered. Moving away from the traditional rules of combat is advocated particularly in the light of terrorist bands and the ambitions of hostile nations who are constantly broadening their definitions of warfare, and victory must remain the goal of war.
