The war on terrorism in the Horn of Africa
Article Abstract:
An analysis revealing the U.S. efforts to conduct counterterrorism operations in the Horn of Africa is described. The role of the organization called the Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) that relates to terrorism in the strategic and operational levels of war, and the plans made by them to contribute to global war on terrorism (GWOT) are highlighted.

The Iraqi Freedom Operation conducted on 3 September 2003 to tackle the issue on the border regarding the violent, abusive, and criminal behavior of the Iranian border guards is described. The aim behind the whole operation was to free people from the terrorist behavior.
