Towards a European crisis reaction force
Article Abstract:
The creation of a European crisis reaction force will serve as the first step that will give impetus to the eventual creation of a single European defense force. Its establishment, a move that will be free the continent from its dependence on the US, is also expected to strengthen the NATO alliance as a whole. While some sectors are justified for thinking that the time is not yet ripe for a single European defense force, preliminary steps should be taken towards this future goal.
