Tracking targets for the Type 45
Article Abstract:
The UK Royal Navy has announced its decision to withdraw from Project Horizon in favor of a national warship program: the Type 45 destroyer. Project Horizon is the warship component of the Common New Generation Frigate for the French, Italian, and UK navies, which embraces the ship platform itself and all other combat, command and communication systems. The GBP-6 billion ($9.85 billion) Type 45 program would involve the construction of 12 ships including the Principal Anti-Air Missile System.
