Article Abstract:
The key capabilities focused by the United States Armed Forces and the capabilities that need to be transformed and strengthened across the NATO alliance in order to fight the war on terrorism are discussed. The rapid reaction capabilities, net-centric operations, combating the global threat, and NATO's indispensable role in the war on terrorism are the major U.S. military strengths that will help in transforming its armed forces to tackle terrorism.
