UK's FR Aviation improves EW control in Dassault Falcon 20s

Article Abstract:

The UK special mission flight services contractor FR Aviation (FRA) is updating the core electronic warfare (EW) control functionality in its fleet of 15 modified Dassasult Falcon 20 EW training aircraft through the integration of an updated PC-based Control Panel (PCCP), which has remained in service with FRA for more than 10 years. The new PCCP Mk 2 is expected to support the existing pod inventory as well as provide sufficient growth potential to manage evolving pod capabilities.

Hawker Hunters test PAAMS(S)

Article Abstract:

A report reveals that two veteran Hawker Hunter fighters registered to the U.K. military fleet will support testing of the Principal Anti-Air Missile System (PAAMS(S)) guided-weapon system under development for the U.K. Royal Navy's new Type 45 Daring-class destroyers. The first Hunter sorties in support of PAAMS tests are predicted to begin at the end of the first quarter of 2007.
