US Army symposium considers future Fires
Article Abstract:
The UA Army's annual Fires Symposium at Fort Sill in May 2006 provided an opportunity for industry to highlight the potential upgrades to the 'Fires' systems. Among the prototype upgrade efforts displayed were a sensor package upgrade for the Bradley Fire Support Team Vehicle (BFIST), a command post configuration of the M992 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle (FAASV), and armoured platform for the M707 Knight fire-support/forward observation system.
