What happened to shock and awe?
Article Abstract:
'Shock and awe', the near-universal usage to describe the US strategy for Operation Iraqi Freedom, but with the Iraqi resistance it has faded away. The concept comes from the book 'Shock & Awe: Achieving Rapid Dominance' but Harlan K. Ullman, one of the authors, says that it is used largely for public relations and it does not bring the great Shock and Awe that they envisaged.Correll, John T.
