Hundreds of underground workers from Latino "job market" are transported to sites all over the Greater Toronto Area, where they renovate condos, frame new houses and build subdivisions. Immigration Minister Denis Coderre announced an unprecedented program to grant these undocumented constructions workers a legal status.

Stelco now paying for '96 pension holiday
Article Abstract:
Stelco's decision to stop making pension payments has infuriated employees at the company's Hamilton Works. The company sought permission from the Ontario government just weeks after workers approved a new contract and was allowed to skip the contributions and pay instead into a province-wide, pension insurance fund.
