Photographer Con Boland alleges that his ex-girlfriend Marilyn Tan and her new boyfriend Geoffrey Clarkson gave Boland sleeping pills without his knowledge and then injected him with HIV tainted blood. Boland, who is now HIV-positive, brought assault charges against the Tan and Clarkson in Jul 1993.

Former model Marilyn Tan stands accused of having injected Con Boland with HIV-tainted blood during various sadomasochistic sex acts. Boland is now HIV positive. The idiosyncratic sexual practices of the former couple are likely to be the focus of court proceedings.

Article Abstract:
Tan was acquitted on charges that she administered HIV-tainted blood to her former lover, photographer Con Boland. Although Boland tested HIV positive in Nov 1992, he admitted to behaviors not involving Tan that could have resulted in acquiring the HIV infection.
