Unspeakable crimes
Article Abstract:
Homolka remained relatively unemotional during her five-day manslaughter trail for the deaths of two teenage girls in Burlington, Ontario. She was was found guilty for her role in the crimes, and sentenced to two concurrent 12-year terms in Jul 1993. A day-by-day account of the proceedings is given.

Karla Homolka faces the heat: a tough defence lawyer grills the Crown's star witness against Paul Bernardo
Article Abstract:
Rosen is using intimidating tactics to discredit Homolka, a witness against her ex-husband, Paul Bernardo, in a double-murder case. Rosen's strategy probably will not harm the Crown's case because the jury has seen videotapes of Bernardo raping four girls, two of whom were the murder victims.

Locked up for life: Bernardo is incarcerated as a dangerous offender
Article Abstract:
Convicted murderer and rapist Paul Bernardo has been officially classified as a dangerous offender under Canadian law, which makes it very unlikely that he will ever be eligible for parole. Bernardo had already been sentenced to two terms of 25 years in prison.
