A new series of installment warrants issued by the Australian Salomon Smith Barney may increase income returns of those investors who think the Australian sharemarket will perform well over the next few years. Fully franked dividends paid by top industrial and financial companies will be available for less than half the amount if bought directly, resulting in high gross yields of 10% to 23%.
