A rumour of more
Article Abstract:
Australian Prime Minister John Howard and Defense Minister Robert Hill are consistent in their resistance to the United StatesE requests for more combat troops in Iraq. However, AustraliaEs argument that troops are already committed to the more general war on terror in East Timor, Solomon Islands and parts of the Middle East, may not hold much weight as the country now has only 2000 personnel overseas.
