Science has proven that psychological stress has deleterious physical consequences on the cardiovascular system, immune system, and other bodily systems. It affects men, women and children differently. Childhood stress is increasing. Meditation, massage, exercise and social relations can help manage stress. Stress is part of the evolutionary inheritance rooted in the fight-or-flight response.

The war on strokes

The symptoms identifying stroke attack and new techniques to cure them are described. Strokes happen when a clot in the narrow artery blocks the blood flow. A new technique using a miniature corkscrew to pull the clot out which restored more than 54% of affected patients is detailed.
