Cinram buys stake in U.S. e-distribution firm

Toronto, Ont.-based Cinram International Inc. has acquired an undisclosed number of shares and warrants in Broadcast Software Corp. for $1.5 million. Cinram, which will create Internet-related entertainment marketing and distribution operations with Broadcast Software, produces CDs, DVDs and video cassettes.
