Article Abstract:
The motion picture industry, represented by the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, has resumed its strike against the advertising industry. The strike evolved from a fight over pay on the old medium of TV to the new medium of the Web. The motion picture industry demands for actors to have similar compensation on the Web and on network TV. The unions have teamed with the AFL-CIO to try to turn up the heat in an effort to settle the six-month-old strike.
