Air Canada plans commuter flights
Article Abstract:
Air Canada is planning to launch commuter flights employing a fleet of 10 King Air aircrafts to service Ontario, Canada-US routes. The decision by Air Canada is part of the airline's strategy to use to its advantage its new growth markets. Air Canada anticipates to be able to begin regular service to US communities that do not require the use of full-size regional aircrafts, such as Rochester, Syracuse and Albany, all in New York. Financial analyst Jacques Kavafian stated that Air Canada's move is a subtle way to gain more customers.
