Airline cuts flights until problems solved
Article Abstract:
Four-jet airline Pro Air has discontinued flights on half of its routes in order for it to tackle its operations problems. Air routes may vanish in rural Southwest
Article Abstract:
Some rural communities could lose their air service routes due to federally required safety upgrades for small airplanes. Commuter airline Mesa Air Group announced that it will retire half of its 19-seat turboprops and stop its rural routes in the Southwest. The new safety rules, which were implemented from 1995 to 1997, were mandated by Congress after a series of crashes involving commuter planes.
