Airlines work to keep terrorism insurance

The Canadian government and the nation's airports and airlines are working out details with international insurance companies to maintain war and terrorism insurance for the aviation industry. Life and casualty costs from the September 11th terrorist attacks on the U.S. are expected to reach between $44 billion (U.S.) to $73 billion.

Cellucci sees regulatory revamp

Paul Cellucci, the U.S. ambassador to Canada, said that regulatory authorities would have to reevaluate the energy industries following the recent power failure in North America. Mr. Cellucci urged private investors to provide financing for the modernization of the industry.
