Alliance Atlantis chief vows to deliver share profit growth
Article Abstract:
Alliance Atlantic Communications Inc CEO Michael MacMillan vowed to increase share profit growth of 15% to 20% a year, a projection criticized as too optimistic by some shareholders. Disbelief in the projected share profit growth is due to the disappointing profit performance of the firm which was $23.3 million in fiscal 1999 versus $26.6 million in 1998. The firm recently eliminated 164 jobs, enlarged its specialty broadcast group and improved its TV production program.
