Alliance pitches for TV licence

Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc.'s attempt to launch a Toronto news channel will not have much impact on the city's incumbent broadcasters. Alliance Atlantis said that its proposed Greater Toronto Television (GTTV) channel will generate approximately $28.8 million in advertising revenue in the second year of operation.
