Premier Cruises goes under
Article Abstract:
Premier Cruises has closed down after its six ships were seized by creditors. Five of its ships were seized by Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette while the sixth was repossessed by Oceanic Marine. Although the company is not yet bancrupt, it seems unlikely to resurface after being left without cruise ships. Fodor's hits the road with a 15-volume series
Article Abstract:
Fodor's has launched the Fodor's Road Guide USA, a 15-volume travel guide that contains short paragraphs on numerous hotels, restaurants and other tourist attractions, similar to the Mobil and AAA guides. However, the Fodor's guides will not provide ratings, unlike the star and diamond ratings used by the two other guides. Fodor's said the ratings tend to be too subjective but includes places to be seen with a single star, or the Fodor's Choice.
