BUSH BACKS GOAL OF FLIGHT TO MOON TO ESTABLISH BASE

Pres. Bush has continued his introduction of bold initiatives during his re-election year with the proposal of establishing a base on the moon and using that to send astronauts to Mars. He wants the US to return to the moon by 2020, but he is not detailing how it would be financed or what technological developments NASA would need to accomplish these missions.
