The immigration reform was seen in 1965 when congress scrapped the national-origin quotas, which gave preference to immigrants with close relatives living in the United States.

Fighting crime: economic ripple effect?
Article Abstract:
The article states that the prevalence of crime is always there will never end, neither will the constant need to fight it. The ways the economy is going to create an economic ripple effect which will lead to a further fall in funding for federal forces which in turn will lead to an increase in the crime rate.
