Australian snooker player Quinten Hann was banned for 8 years on February 17, 2006 for knowingly entering into an unlawful agreement to fix results of certain snooker competitions in return for financial gain. Hann's professional career began in 1990 when he was 13, contested various titles and by 21 had won the coveted triple discipline Lindrum Masters title twice, was rated in the top 16 but due to his wayward ways he has damned himself and has abashed his career away.
