Brad Murdoch and his former business partner James Tahi Hepi shared a flat in Broome, in north-west Western Australia. According to Hepi, Murdoch was accused of murdering Peter Falconio and was living in fear. He was afraid of being pulled in, and he longer felt free to cross state lines.
