Stormy Summers is running a Bordello in Adelaide for 30 years and has weathered numerous efforts by South Australian police, rivals, her landlords to shut it down but presently it is the Australian Taxation Office trying to close it down for non payment of taxes. She is running for a seat in the Legislative Council as part of her long running campaign to legalize prostitution but if she is declared bankrupt then she would be barred from contesting the state elections.

The CLERP 9 corporate law reforms recognized the need to tighten disclosure requirements, in which directors need to list their past three years of business experience, including directorships held, to consider the investment sentiments regarding corporate governance issues. The Australian Shareholder Association welcomed the reform, but insisted on transparency.
