Black's media empire unravels: Black, investors could double value of holdings under Barclays bid

Conrad Black and minority shareholders of Hollinger Inc. would double the value of their holdings under a $424 million bid for the company by a pair of private British billionaires. Press Holdings International Ltd., a private company owned by Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay, unveiled an agreement to buy Lord Black's controlling stake in Hollinger Inc., and would extend the offer to other shareholders of the company.
