Bombardier optimistic despite slowdown, loss

Montreal, Que.-based Bombardier Inc., which has been hurt by a general economic slowdown following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, has reported a third quarter loss of $367.6 million. Bombardier, which is led by president and chief executive officer Robert Brown, expects to meet its optimistic growth forecast.
