Calgary, Alb.-based Canadian Airlines International Ltd. has announced that it will end its policy of allowing New York, NY-based American Express Co. card holders to transfer membership reward points to its own frequent flier program. Canadian Airlines, which is owned by Canadian Airlines Corp., has filed for bankruptcy protection.

Air Canada delays carrier launch

WestJet drops plans for Halifax airport
