A University of Manitoba fisheries professor wants to capitalize on the demand for caviar in Canada since even a small jar of Russian caviar sells for $90 in Toronto, Ontario. Terry Dick expects Canada to become a leading exporter of caviar, which is produced by sturgeon fish.

Air Canada to form regional network

Montreal, Que.-based Air Canada has announced that it will form a coast-to-coast network by consolidating its four regional airlines. Air Canada, which will equip the network with 82 aircraft and 2,887 personnel, is led by president Joe Randell.
