CN forced to release results a day early: Clerical error made in regulatory filing
Article Abstract:
Canadian National Railway Co. was forced to release its strong third-quarter results a day early, after an embarrassing clerical error in a filing with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The railway rushed to release these results on October 21, 2003 instead of on October 22, 2003, after a wrong headline on the press release that went along with the filing.
