From Taiwan, a fear of China technology
Article Abstract:
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Chairman Morris Chang has been forced to restate his views on China's influence as a major player in the world's semiconductor industry. Both countries' membership in the World Trade Organization will forge deeper ties between the two, commercially. Two Taiwanese business enterprises, based near Shanghai, China, will force market competition between the two countries and throughout the world. The two companies are Semiconductor Manufacturing International and Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing.
