Crude oil dips below important $30 level

After four months, crude oil prices finally dipped below the $30-a-barrel mark again on December 5th 2000. Experts say the price slump is the result of a renewed confidence in uninterrupted Iraqi oil shipments, as well as a slowdown in the U.S. economy.
