Montreal, Que.-based Cinar Corp., which is a television production, film and animation company, has encountered opposition from dissident shareholders who are seeking the ouster of the company's board of directors. Cinar, which is led by chief executive officer Barrie Usher, has postponed a confrontation until its annual meeting.
