Consumers shy away from Web shopping

Market research companies, such as Ipsos-Reid, have reported that many holiday shoppers are taking advantage of the convenience in visiting Canadian online retail Web sites. But some traditional retailers, such as Toronto, Ont.-based Indigo Books Music and More Inc., are scaling back their online operations due to decreasing online activity.
