It is a common practice when one bank embarks on a new strategy, other banks react in synch, and even then they take a long time to undertake general insurance. If the competitors get to know that one of its rivals have taken a plunge into general insurance it would follow suit, but it can be seen that general insurance can pay dividends if the right asset is bought at the right price.
