Current situation: Christian opposition
Article Abstract:
Around 16 American states have adopted legislation aimed at recommending or requiring schools to institute anti-bullying programs in order to teach children to reject bullying behavior. Some conservative Christian groups have opposed these anti-bullying programs because they felt that these anti-harassment workshops were intended to promote acceptance of homosexuality.
