The Liberals and Nationals managed between them to win four of the six senate seats in Queensland, Australia in 2005 through a combination of circumstances. When the Nationals began to crow about their senate heroics and expected gratitude, they only enraged the Liberals, many of whom recollected how the Nationals voted with Labor, and against the Liberals, in 1983.
