Although RT Capital Management Inc. is in the spotlight for its price manipulation scandal, the it is not the only company in the investment industry responsible of "high closing" or "juicing". Statistics for the ends of 1997, 1998 and 1999 from the Toronto Stock Exchange reveal many stock prices that rose high on December 31st, then fell sharply in January.
