Eye on the tiger
Article Abstract:
The thylacine is extinct since 1936, but there are more than 4000 claimed sightings of the beast since it supposedly died out, and the average claims each year reported to authorities number 150. Though most of the sightings reported turn out to be false, occasionally there are high-quality sightings that make it impossible for wildlife biologists to absolutely rule out the possibility of the thylacine's survival.
