Fidelity joins call to oust Cinar chairman

Robert Despres, the embattled chairman of Cinar Corp., is under pressure from Boston, Mass.-based Fidelity Investments to resign. Mr. Despres already has been facing pressure to resign from a group of dissident shareholders dissatisfied with his dual role as chairman and trustee of a firm that controls Cinar.
