Authorities have recovered some crucial pieces of evidence in the crash of TWA Flight 800, but it may take months before they can determine whether the crash was a terrorist act. Some of the victim's family members complained about the slow pace of the investigation and recovery efforts.

The Department of National Defence and Prime Minister Kim Campbell have released very little information about the killing of a Somali prisoner by Canadian soldiers stationed in Somalia. The man, Shidane Abukar Arone, died on Mar 16, 1993 after a scuffle with the soldiers.
