Article Abstract:

Canada has one of the best health-care delivery systems in the world, but citizens are increasingly worried that wasteful expenditures on health-care will hurt the economy. One way to cut costs and still maintain health is to emphasize preventative health-care measures.

Confidence in Canadian public schools and publically funded separate schools is undermined by a number of inaccurate criticisms. These criticisms are discussed, and an argument against a market approach to education is proposed.
