Healers or quacks: therapies once viewed as fringe are becoming mainstream

Alternative medicine is widely practiced in Canada, with an estimated 20% of Canadians now pursuing some form of alternative therapy such as chiropractic, acupuncture or homeopathy. Some mainstream doctors object to the new therapies, but others are using them into their own practice.
