Chris Deveney, a director of Queensland-based agribusiness group Favco, has pioneered a fresh way to package sliced fruit and keep it fresh for several weeks. Favco has spent about $2 million over two years developing its own process, using technology and machinery from Australia, North America and several European countries, and has launched Fresh Apple Slices.
