Insurers unfazed by B.C. fire disaster

The Canadian property and casualty insurance industry suffered a loss of at least 200 million Canadian dollars from fires that hit Kelowna, British Columbia neighborhoods in August 2003. The insurance firms said that they will be able to handle the claims.
