Canadian spies revolt over wages

CSIS, Canada's intelligence agency, has been sued by over 100 of its former and current employees over a wage dispute. The agency's workers claim that they are owed millions of dollars in wages and bonuses by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

Internal audit sheds little light on $850-million CIDA offshoot
Article Abstract:
The Canadian International Development Agency has spent over $800 million on programs that provide assistance to businesses expanding to Third World nations. The CIDA, which will be audited by the Auditor-General, gave much of the money to some of Canada's largest corporations, banks and consulting companies.

China set up crime web in Canada, report says

A 1997 report, which was done by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, claims that the Chinese government has cooperated with Asian criminal gangs in a broad range of criminal activity in Canada. The report alleges that the groups conducted drug smuggling and espionage.
