Every time computer users log onto the Internet, personal information they thought was private is available to strangers in cyberspace. By accessing some World Wide Web sites a program can be secretly installed to gather information from personal computers and sold to businesses. Microsoft was found to have bugged its software to trace the sources of documents made with its programs.
