Investors strike last-ditch deal to pull Davie from bankruptcy protection

Davie Industries Inc could be pulled out of bankruptcy protection after major investors that include Quebec City, Quebec-based Groupe Desgagnes Inc and Groupe Ocean Inc and a US-based consortium agreed to acquire the company for an estimated C$18 million. The US-based consortium is comprised of Arlington, VA-based Syntek Technologies Inc and its financial partner, New York, NY-headquartered Transnational Capital Ventures Inc.
